JAKES Day at the Range
J.A.K.E.S. Day at the Range is our annual youth-focused outdoor education event designed to introduce the next generation to safe and responsible shooting sports and conservation. Held at the Escondido Fish & Game Association, the event provides hands-on experiences including archery, tomahawk throwing, black powder shooting, .22 rifle and shotgun shooting, BB guns, and turkey calling instruction. Safety, mentorship, and ethical hunting practices are emphasized throughout the day, creating a fun and educational experience for young outdoor enthusiasts.
