We are proud to host the drawing for our 18th annual youth mentored turkey hunt hosted by the San Diego County Parks Department and sponsored by the San Diego Chapter National Wild Turkey Federation. Twenty youth hunters will be selected (10 for Saturday and 10 for Sunday) and paired with a mentor for a guided spring turkey hunt.

The drawing will be held at the Ramona VFW. Doors open at 8:30 AM, with a safety and rules orientation and turkey seminar beginning at 9:00 AM. Registration closes at 10:30 AM, and the drawing will begin at approximately 11:00 AM.

Each youth selected must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and must have a valid hunting license at the time of the drawing. For insurance purposes, both the youth hunter and accompanying adult must be members of the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Donuts will be provided in the morning, and lunch will be free for youth.
